1916. november 21-\u00e9n Ferenc J\u00f3zsef hal\u00e1la ut\u00e1n K\u00e1roly lett a cs\u00e1sz\u00e1r.<\/strong> \u00a0A budapesti koron\u00e1z\u00e1s azt jelenti, hogy K\u00e1rolyt az Egyh\u00e1z, \u00e9s \u00edgy Isten is olyan k\u00fcldet\u00e9ssel ruh\u00e1zta fel, amely arra h\u00edvja, hogy ne csak Magyarorsz\u00e1g, hanem minden n\u00e9pe felett uralkodjon. A szertart\u00e1s szinte liturgikus.<\/p>

K\u00e1roly a fej\u00e9n kapta meg Szent Istv\u00e1nnak, Magyarorsz\u00e1g els\u0151 kir\u00e1ly\u00e1nak koron\u00e1j\u00e1t.
